How do I return an item?
30-Day “No Hassle” Returns – Tri-State Distributors, Inc. allows return of all new, unused and resalable items in their original packaging for a full refund on the product price only. Inbound and outbound shipping costs will not be refunded. Orders processed with discounted or free shipping will not have the initial shipping cost refunded. The customer will pay the return shipping cost. Do not return items to Okaloosa Gas District.
If your return request is due to product defect or damage, we will first work with you to get the product repaired. If repair is not possible or uneconomical, then we will work with you to have the product replaced.
If your return will be shipped to Tri-State Distributors via freight truck, Tri-State will require a photo before your return will be authorized. The photo is required in case there is damage to the item in transit to Tri-State Distributors. The returned item must be in the original box with all return documents inside. The product must be returned unused. Tri-State Distributors will refund the product price only. Inbound and outbound shipping costs will not be refunded. Orders processed with discounted or free shipping will not have the initial shipping cost refunded. The customer will pay the return shipping cost. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the product to Tri-State Distributors in the same new/ undamaged condition which it was received. Please insure your return, as any return product received damaged in shipping will not be eligible for a credit. Tri-State Distributors is not responsible for items received damaged. The customer will need to file an insurance claim with the carrier for damaged items and to be reimbursed for the insured amount.
How to Request a Return: For returns on items that are not damaged or defective, please call Tri-State Distributors at 1-800-476-6164 within 30 days of receipt of your merchandise. Please have your order number and the reason for your return ready. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization Number and instructions for returning the item to us. All returns MUST have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Credits for returns received without an RMA number will be significantly delayed. These items may also be refused by the receiving Tri-State Distributor warehouse. If so, they will be shipped back at the customer's expense.
