Tri-State Shipping Policies:
Tri-State Distributors offers free shipping on all orders over $249.00 in the State of Florida.
Standard Flat-Rate Shipping of $9.95 is offered on all orders under $249.00 in the State of Florida.
Tri-State is dedicated to shipping your order as soon as possible. Most items that are offered through this online store are in-stock items and will usually take between 7 to 14 business days to reach the delivery destination entered by the customer. Custom orders will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.
Shipping Locations - Items purchased through Okaloosagas.com ship to addresses in the State of Florida only. Products typically ship from Tri-State Distributors, Inc. in Ocala, Florida.
All shipments, unless noted otherwise, are curbside shipments. All larger shipments that are shipped via a freight carrier will require a signature at the time of delivery. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, neither Okaloosa Gas District nor Tri-State Distributors, Inc. will be held responsible for any damages or theft that may occur during the delivery process. "Curbside Delivery" indicates delivery to the curb at your driveway's end, at the street, and does not include assistance with unloading, unpacking, set-up, or clean up. Extraordinary delivery requirements (caused by physical obstructions, insufficient space, winding roads, dirt or gravel roads, neighborhood restrictions etc.) may create additional shipping charges. If the shipping company is unable to make normal delivery to the address because of any of the aforementioned circumstances, it is the customer's responsibility to make alternate arrangements with the freight carrier to take receipt of the shipment.
If an item is shipped and returned because it is not deliverable due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for shipping both ways. Orders for larger items shipped using a freight carrier require the shipping company to contact the customer prior to delivery. If the product is returned because the freight company could not reach the customer, this will be considered a return, and will be subject to our regular return policies.
Tri-State uses UPS® or FedEx® for smaller product shipments, while larger items are shipped using third party freight businesses. We reserve the right to choose which freight business is selected to carry and deliver your shipment; however, we do not control the shipping companies (Individual freight businesses, UPS® or FedEx®). Once a shipment is in the hands of the delivery company, we cannot change shipping addresses, we cannot guarantee a delivery will occur on a certain day or time, and we can only approximate delivery times.
Refused Shipments - If you refuse a delivery, we will refund you the cost of the item, deducting all of the shipping costs (both inbound and outbound) associated with the order.
Checking your Order Shipment - Upon completion of your order, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from Tri-State Distributors, Inc. containing the details of your order. You will be sent a second e-mail confirming the shipment and tracking number of your package.
Cancelling an Order - If you wish to cancel your order prior to delivery, please contact Tri-State Distributors, Inc. immediately by calling 1-800-476-6164. Depending upon where the order is in the process, it may or may not be able to be cancelled. We will make our best effort to cancel if the order has not been shipped. If items have been shipped, the order may be returned following our standard return procedures. Please see our Returns Policy for further details on returning your product.
Delivery Inspection - Over 99 percent of deliveries have no external or internal damage, and are accepted, or signed for, without problem. For your protection, we ask that you please inspect your packages following these guidelines:
If you authorize the freight company to leave freight without a signature, Okaloosa Gas District nor Tri-State Distributors, Inc. will not be held liable for any damages or missing pieces. Leaving a note authorizing delivery without a signature is the same as signing for your products in good condition.
If your order ships via freight, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Ensure that the pallet/piece count on the delivery receipt matches the number of pallets/pieces received. If a pallet(s) or piece(s) is missing:
Step 2: Inspect the packaging for external damage. If you notice exterior damage:
Step 3: If there is no visible external damage, please sign for your freight.
Step 4: Please inspect your items for concealed damage after the driver has left.
IMPORTANT- Remember, you have 2 business days to call us at 1-800-476-6164 to report any damage on all shipments (UPS, FedEx, or Freight).
