The Vail 24" Vent-Free Fireplace delivers the beauty of hand-painted ceramic fiber logs and natural flickering flames to dens, halls, and even bedrooms.
These fireplaces are rated at 20,000 BTUs – enough heat to keep a family room cozy and warm. Special 10,000 BTU models are available in Millivolt and Intermittent Pilot for bedroom installations, where allowed by local codes.
The basic Vail Fireplace operates with a built-in modulating hydraulic thermostat that automatically manages the flame to
maintain your preset room temperature. The Remote-Ready Millivolt Vail 24" Fireplace works with any of Empire's battery-operated Thermostat Remote Controls, or can be connected to a simple wall switch or wall thermostat. The Intermittent Pilot Vail 24" Fireplace saves even more energy by eliminating the standing pilot – yet can still operate in a power outage with a battery backup.
